  • Dr. Barski is a Fellow of the National and European Boards of Urology since 2014. He is a consultant of the German Continence Society since 2015. In 2010 he wrote his doctor thesis and in 2018 he accomplished his PhD researches in the field of reconstructive Urology and Tissue Engineering in Surgical Sciences at the University of Szeged (Hungary). In 2016 he was awarded the IDEAL poster prize for surgical innovation in Oxford, GB and 2019 the GeSRU prize for the best multicenter study. His professional training included residency of general surgery and urology in University Hospital of Zurich (Switzerland), University of California in San Francisco (USA), University Hospital of Duesseldorf (Germany) and Lukas Hospital in Neuss (Germany). He is an active member of the International Continence Society (ICS); the European Association of Urology (EAU), the German Society of Residents in Urology (GeSRU) and DZITM (German Center for Innovative Techniques in Medicine). Currently he works as consultant in the Department of Urology in Rheinland Klinikum Neuss. His main fields of professional interest and research areas are surgical treatment and epidemiology of benign prostate syndrome, incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse, development and proof of implants in urogynecology, neuro-urology, tissue engineering, men`s health and innovations in oncology. He is an expert in GMP (good manufacturing practice) and European pharmaceutical law. He is author and co-author of more than 35 peer-reviewed PubMed papers and 6 scientific book chapters.
